Christmas Celebration 2025

We joyfully celebrated Christmas 2025 with our children and parents in a warm, inclusive, and cheerful atmosphere. The event was thoughtfully designed to encourage creativity, social interaction, and joyful participation among children and families. The celebration included engaging activities such as Christmas tree and crib making, which helped children explore creativity and teamwork. A gift exchange session brought smiles and excitement, followed by cake cutting, making the moment truly special for everyone. The programme concluded with soulful Christmas carols, spreading love, togetherness, and festive spirit. This celebration strengthened the bond between children, parents, and our team, creating beautiful memories filled with joy, laughter, and togetherness.
Children’s Day Celebration – 2025

In connection with Children’s Day (14 November), our centre celebrated the occasion on 15 November 2025 with a joyful outing to Pet Station, Mattool, Kannur, along with our children and therapists. The outing provided children with a wonderful opportunity to explore a new environment, observe animals closely, and engage in meaningful interactions. With the support and guidance of therapists, the experience encouraged sensory exploration, social interaction, communication, and emotional development. The celebration created a safe, enjoyable, and enriching experience for the children, making Children’s Day truly memorable through learning, fun, and togetherness.
Field Visit – Montessori Training Students

As part of their academic curriculum, Montessori Teacher Training students from Noorul Huda Educational Institution visited our clinic on 12 November 2025 for an educational field visit. During the visit, students were introduced to the various departments and services of our clinic. Our therapists explained the roles, therapeutic approaches, and intervention strategies followed in each department, helping students gain practical insight into early intervention and multidisciplinary support. The field visit provided valuable exposure to clinical practices, enhanced professional understanding, and strengthened the connection between academic learning and real-world application.
Partnering for Progress – Parent Q&A Session
Topic: Communication Development | Date: 25 October 2025
We conducted “Partnering for Progress,” a parent Question & Answer session focused on communication development, led by the Department of Speech Language Pathology. The session provided parents with an open platform to ask questions related to speech and language development, share their experiences, and gain clarity on common concerns. Our speech-language therapists guided parents with practical, evidence-based strategies to effectively support their child’s speech and language journey at home. This interactive session strengthened parent–therapist collaboration and empowered families with knowledge, confidence, and skills to actively participate in their child’s communication development.
World Mental Health Day – Parental Awareness Programme

In observance of World Mental Health Day (10 October 2025), the Thalassery Clinic conducted a parental awareness programme focused on emotional well-being and self-care. The programme included an awareness class for parents along with a poster presentation highlighting the importance of mental health in daily life. As part of an interactive activity, therapists conducted a note-writing session with parents. A poster displaying the thought-provoking question, “Do you find time for yourself in your life? If yes, please share.” was placed along with two collection boxes, pens, and note papers. Parents were encouraged to write and share their personal experiences, reflections, and thoughts on self-care. This activity created a safe and supportive space for expression, promoting awareness, reflection, and open conversations about mental health and well-being.

Onam Celebration – 2025

The Onam Celebration 2025 was joyfully conducted at our Kannur and Thalasserycentres for children and parents, with active involvement from our therapists. The celebration was filled with fun games, interactive activities, and traditional
Onam spirit, creating a lively and inclusive atmosphere for everyone. Childrenandparents enthusiastically participated in the programmes, promoting social interaction, cultural awareness, and joyful bonding. The event concluded with a traditional Onam Sadhya, allowing families toexperience togetherness, tradition, and celebration in a warmand supportiveenvironment. The programme created beautiful memories while strengtheningtheconnection between children, parents, and our therapy team.
Field Visit – Nursing Students

Nursing students from Anjarakandy Medical College, Kannur visited our clinicon 16 August 2025 as part of their academic field visit. During the visit, students were introduced to the clinic environment and the various
therapeutic services offered. Our therapists explained the roles of different
departments, intervention approaches, and multidisciplinary teamwork involvedin supporting children and families. The visit provided students with valuable exposure to clinical practices, enhancedtheir understanding of early intervention services, and helped bridge academiclearning with practical experience.
Independence Day Celebration – 2025

The Thalassery Centre celebrated Independence Day 2025 with great enthusiasmthrough flag hoisting and a specially planned group therapy session for children. The celebration included engaging activities such as colouring the national flag, asmall march, cake sharing, and group free play. These activities were thoughtfullydesigned to promote social interaction, participation, motor skills, creativity, anda sense of unity among children. The programme created a joyful and meaningful learning experience while instillingvalues of togetherness, confidence, and national pride in a supportive therapeuticenvironment.
Learning Support Summer Camp – 2025
Duration: April – May 2025
During April and May 2025, we successfully conducted a Learning Support
Summer Camp at our Kannur and Thalassery centres for children who requireadditional academic and developmental support. The camp was led by a multidisciplinary team of therapists, with special educators
providing individualized learning sessions. Children received focused support in areas
where they experienced difficulty, ensuring that concepts were revisited, clarified, andstrengthened. All academic topics were covered to each child’s full potential, basedon their individual learning needs.
In addition, Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Psychologists
conducted structured and engaging activities to support the development of speechand language skills, motor abilities, attention, emotional regulation, and mental
well-being. The summer camp provided a nurturing and structured environment that promotedlearning confidence, skill development, and holistic growth, helping childrenprogress academically and developmentally.

Outdoor Learning Experience – Snake Park
On 3 May 2025, our therapists organized “A Day Out” with children to the SnakePark, Kannur, offering them an exciting opportunity to explore the fascinating worldof reptiles. The visit was planned as a guided experiential learning activity, where childrenobserved different reptiles in a safe and supportive environment. With the assistanceof therapists, the outing encouraged curiosity, sensory exploration, communication, confidence, and social interaction. This meaningful outdoor experience combined learning with fun, helping childrengain new knowledge while supporting their developmental and emotional growth.
Vishu Celebration – 2025

On 13 April 2025, we celebrated Vishu with our children through meaningful
cultural and sensory-based activities. A traditional Vishu Kani was beautifullyarranged to introduce children to the festive elements in a calm and engaging manner. Each child was gently guided with their eyes covered by therapists’ hands and invitedto experience the Vishu Kani. Children explored the items through touch, feelingthedifferent fruits and objects, which supported sensory exploration and awareness. Following the ritual, children were given Vishu Kaineettam, adding joy and cultural
significance to the celebration. The programme concluded with a small group therapy session, where childrenparticipated in structured activities promoting social interaction, and emotional
regulation. The celebration blended tradition with therapy, creating a joyful andenriching learning experience.
World Autism Awareness Day – Sports Day 2025

In observance of World Autism Awareness Day, we celebrated the occasion as aSports Day on 9 April 2025, promoting inclusion, awareness, and active participation. The programme began with a small awareness march on the street, creatingvisibility and spreading positive messages about autism. This was followedbyphysical and sports-based activities designed to encourage movement, coordination, teamwork, and confidence among children. The celebration provided a joyful platform for children to engage in physical activitywhile fostering awareness, acceptance, and community connection in a supportiveenvironment.
Autism Awareness Day- Outing to Downtown mall, Thalassery 2025

As part of Autism Awareness Day, we organized a special outing for children on 5 April 2025 to Downtown Mall, Thalassery, with the active involvement of all therapists.
The outing was planned to help children experience public transportation, as they travelled together by auto-rickshaw, supporting real-life learning and community exposure. At the mall, children explored different areas and spent time in the play zone, engaging in activities that encouraged social interaction, sensory exploration, confidence, and adaptive skills.
This meaningful experience supported awareness, inclusion, and independence, while providing children with a joyful and supportive opportunity to explore real-world environments
Voices Together: A Parental Guide to Speech Development

Dental Camp for Children-2024

We conducted a Dental Camp for children at our Thalassery centre in 2024, focusing on promoting oral health awareness and preventive care.
The camp provided children with basic dental check-ups and guidance on oral hygiene practices in a child-friendly and supportive environment.
